1. About Scenr

Scenr is an event discovery and ticketing platform operated by Scenr LLC, a Florida limited liability company ("Scenr," "we," "us," or "our"). We provide a marketplace that connects event organizers ("Organizers") with ticket buyers ("Attendees"). Scenr is not an event promoter and does not organize, produce, or control any events listed on the platform.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and purchase tickets. By using Scenr, you represent that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts. If you are under 18, you may only use Scenr under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms.

3. Accounts

You create an account using your email address — either with a one-time code or a password — or by signing in with Google. A phone number is optional and is used only if you choose to add one and opt in to SMS. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account, for keeping your credentials secure, and for providing accurate information. Scenr reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Ticket Purchases

4.1 Platform Fee. Scenr charges a $0.99 platform fee per ticket for non-members. Annual Members ($9.90/year) pay no platform fee on 1 ticket per event. All fees are clearly displayed before checkout.

4.2 Payment Processing. All payments are processed securely by Stripe. Scenr does not store your payment card information. By completing a purchase, you authorize the charge to your selected payment method.

4.3 Ticket Delivery. Tickets are delivered digitally as QR codes accessible through your Scenr account. You are responsible for presenting your QR code at the event entrance.

4.4 Free Events. RSVP for free events is available at no charge. No payment information is required.

5. Annual Membership

The Scenr Annual Membership costs $9.90 and waives the $0.99 platform fee on 1 ticket per event for 12 months. It is a one-time purchase that does not automatically renew and does not store or charge a card on file. Before your membership expires, we will remind you; to keep member benefits you may repurchase. A 30-day grace period applies after expiration before benefits lapse. Membership fees are non-refundable, including for any unused portion.

6. Refunds and Cancellations

6.1 Attendee Refunds. Refund eligibility is determined by the Organizer's refund policy set at the time of ticket purchase. If an Organizer approves a refund, it will be returned to your original payment method. Tickets that have been scanned at event entry are not eligible for refunds.

6.2 Event Cancellation. If an Organizer cancels an event, all valid tickets will be automatically refunded in full, including any platform fees paid. Scenr will notify affected Attendees by email (and by SMS if they have opted in).

6.3 Scenr's Role. Scenr acts as a payment facilitator. Refunds are funded by Organizer payouts. Scenr is not liable for refunds in excess of funds collected and held for the applicable event.

6.4 Chargebacks. Scenr has enrolled in Stripe's Chargeback Protection program. Disputes and chargebacks are handled in accordance with Stripe's policies. Abusive chargeback activity may result in account suspension.

7. Ticket Transfers

Attendees may transfer tickets to other users via the Scenr platform. Transferred tickets are valid for the new holder. When a ticket on which the platform fee was paid is claimed by an Annual Member, that member receives a $0.99 credit; non-members who claim a transferred ticket may instead receive a limited-time membership credit. Scenr reserves the right to invalidate tickets transferred outside of the platform.

8. Organizer Terms

8.1 Organizer Responsibilities. Organizers are solely responsible for their events, including accuracy of event information, venue arrangements, permits, compliance with applicable laws, and fulfillment of the event as advertised.

8.2 Stripe Connect. Organizers must connect a Stripe account to receive payouts. Payouts are released after the event takes place, subject to Stripe's standard processing times. Organizers agree to Stripe's Connected Account Agreement.

8.3 Refund Obligations. Organizers agree to respond to refund requests within the timeframe specified at event creation. Failure to respond may result in automatic refund issuance.

8.4 Prohibited Events. Organizers may not list events that are illegal, fraudulent, or violate these Terms or any applicable law. Scenr reserves the right to remove any event listing without notice.

9. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to: (a) use Scenr for any unlawful purpose; (b) resell tickets at prices above face value without Scenr's written consent; (c) create multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions; (d) attempt to circumvent any security or access controls; (e) submit false or fraudulent refund or chargeback claims; (f) harass, abuse, or harm other users; or (g) use automated tools to scrape or interact with Scenr without permission.

10. Fraud and Abuse

Scenr takes fraud seriously. First violations may result in a warning. Repeat violations within 12 months may result in permanent account suspension. Fraudulent chargeback activity will be reported to Stripe and may result in legal action. Scenr cooperates with law enforcement where required.

11. Intellectual Property

All content on Scenr, including logos, design, code, and text, is owned by Scenr LLC or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any Scenr content without express written permission.

12. Disclaimers

SCENR IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. SCENR DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE PLATFORM WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE. SCENR IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ACTIONS OR OMISSIONS OF ORGANIZERS OR THE QUALITY, SAFETY, OR LEGALITY OF ANY EVENT.

13. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SCENR'S TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO SCENR IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) $100. SCENR SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Scenr LLC and its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising from your use of the platform, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another party.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Palm Beach County, Florida. You consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.

16. Changes to Terms

Scenr reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by email or in-app notification. Continued use of Scenr after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
